This Week: Favorite things about summer

1. The adventurous spirit that comes over me.

Even though I technically don’t have too much freedom during the summer (thank you, grown-up world) I still love the weekend spontaneity that happens in an instant. For me, summer means lying in the grass or on a hammock and getting lost in a good book. It means that I can get a naturally beautiful sun kissed tan. It means that baseball season is in full swing and that I get to watch my Yankees. It also means that it’s my bay’s birthday and that we get to celebrate. Summer is without a doubt one of my favorite times of year.

2. The beach!!! This has to be one of God’s most gorgeous creations. :o)

**A life without love is like a year without summer**

This is my first summer after college and I'm mourning the loss of that freedom for sure! Hopefully I can learn to be a little more spontaneous on those precious summer weekends!

Isn't it sad we have to grow up… I guess we can't all be teachers (right now I'm kind of wishing I had gone that route, haha)

I know, major bummer that summers aren't OFF anymore, but you're right, they still bring a sense of freedom and fun loving. Can't wait for that! I grew up w/ a dad who was a teacher, so as a family we always had super fun summers – I took them for granted until I married a guy who's busiest time of the year is summertime.- We make up for it though w/ fall vacations… Life changes, and we adjust. Love that first photo btw, I'm a ballerina, and just love pictures of dancing in nature!
